After several months of the tragic and unexpected death of Javier Mercado, our La Giganta Real Estate pillar, we are still struggling with this terrible loss for the company and his clients. We are restructuring the company to continue and expand the services you have come to know from the Mercados over the past 15 years. You will still have a team of professional Mexicans who communicate with you in your own language, are honest and reliable people who know Mexican law and regulations and provide clarity and good communication at all times. While we will be without Javier’s personality which was at the core of our business we will carry on with the skills, knowledge, local, state and national contacts he passed on to us. In 1993 Javier and I (Kelli his wife) started the first real estate company in Loreto bringing to it our extensive experience in Fonatur real estate and related government processes for non-Mexican citizens in particular. The goal then as it remains today was to satisfy our foreign clients with happy, hassle free endings to all their related real estate transactions in Mexico. We are your Mexican Advocate to help you accomplish what you need to do to have a tranquil happy life while you are in Mexico. La Giganta has extensive Loreto knowledge and experience as the team is born and raised in Loreto, families dating back 150 years in Loreto’s history. Everyone in the office speaks English and Spanish. We are very well connected to Loreto and Baja California State government offices and know the Federal Fonatur structure, regulations and processes.
